We currently have 2 groups of MSc students from the University of Bath running a number of fundraising and awareness events on our behalf.
We have been very pleased with what they have done so it would be great to see you at the events that they have lined up this week! Details below…
Good Food Day
Saturday 19th August 2017 – 1pm – 4:30pm – Brunel Square
One of our teams will be setting up in Brunel Square (next to the train station) on Saturday 19th August with a smoothie bike! You’ll also have the opportunity to take a polaroid photo of you on the bike for a small donation. There will also be a food waste card game.
Thursday 17th August 2017 – 1pm – 4:30pm – St. Mary’s Church Hall
The same team will also be running a family cooking event in our usual venue of St. Mary’s Catholic Church Hall on Julian Road this Thursday.
Saturday 19th August 2017 – 5pm – 9pm – St. Mary’s Church Hall
Our second team will be creating an Enchanted Forest as an awareness and volunteer appreciation event at St. Mary’s Church Hall on Saturday 19th August between 5pm and 9pm. There will be free food games, a short documentary screening about food surplus, and some prizes to be won. Do bring your friends and family!
We hope to see you there!
